Like Yoko Ono’s Sky Tv (1966), this live feed projection of the sky uses a surveillance camera fastened to the roof. Now forty years later, surveillance is an embedded truth of our urban landscape. 118 Steps to Outside uses the 24 X 7 incessant streaming capabilities of this technology to respond to ICP’s subterranean location. This is a site specific work.
